Purpose: New business sales – prospect, qualify and sign new business. Position is located close to Kuilsriver.
- Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate
- Tertiary Qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or another related field.
- At least 4 years’ experience in a Sales environment.
- Must have current industry experience – Freight Forwarding/Road Freight/Courier/Supply Chain.
- “Hunter Sales” capabilities, passionate about new business and sales
- Ability to liaise effectively with senior client personnel and colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Must be fluent in English (written and oral).
- Client empathy and ability to liaise effectively at strategic, tactical and operational levels.
- Must be able to attend company functions on the weekend and travel away on conferences.
- Valid unendorsed code 8 license & Own vehicle portraying the company image.
- Geographical knowledge of South Africa.
- Toast masters / public speaking skills.
- Business management training.
- Canvas new business opportunities.
- Build and manage an effective leads bank and sales pipeline.
- Manage a CRM system.
- Plan and manage an effective Diary
- Implementation of new accounts – process and project management.
- Manage client relationship.
- Monthly billing and financial reporting.
- Retain current business and ensure minimum real growth of at least 10% per annum.
- General administrative duties.
- Client entertainment.
- Create sustainable value for customers by adopting an innovative approach to their business.
- Ensure required monthly and accumulative targets are met.
