Sales Representative | Animal Health

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Sales Representative | Animal Health, Veterinary Science based in the East Rand, Johannesburg Gauteng.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate; Tertiary qualification in Veterinary Science; Veterinary Nursing; Animal Health Science or similar / equivalent
• Preferably 3-5 years animal health experience, and sales experience.
• Previous sales and/or marketing experience in the Animal Health industry preferable
• A valid driver’s license, own transport
• A willingness and ability to travel extensively within the territory (Routes may involve overnight travel)
• Sales and Customer Territory: East Rand & Mpumalanga
• Base Salary, Car Allowance, Fuel Card, Medical Aid & Provident Fund Contributions, Quarterly Incentive

Duties:

Account Management & Growth
• Manage and grow the key account to achieve sales targets.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Support new product launches and business initiatives.

Planning & Execution
• Manage account budgets and provide accurate sales forecasts.
• Monitor performance and recommend improvement actions.

Customer & Stakeholder Management
• Drive customer engagement through effective marketing and digital channels.
• Work closely with customers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product availability.
• Coordinate technical support to address customer needs.

Technical, Commercial and General Skills

• Strong technical proficiency, and ability to transfer technical knowledge and understanding into
effective product positioning within our customers & related businesses
• Demonstrates high level of Customer centric approach, combined with good business orientation.
• Computer literacy (including mobile devices), and Excel and PowerPoint intermediate skills.
• Results oriented: eager to achieve objectives and obtain the targeted results.
• Can confront obstacles to accomplish objectives.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, attention to detail.
• Good planning and prioritisation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills (English).
