Millwright | Service Technician

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Qualified Millwright Service Technician for a permanent position based in Boksburg, Johannesburg, Gauteng. Primary duties are to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment, with some electrical experience as an added advantage.

Minimum Requirements Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
• Trade-tested Millwright or Red seal would be advantageous
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Drivers License – required to travel

Duties:

• Experience within a production environment.
• Excellent Fault-Finding Skills.
• Knowledge of 3 phase systems and DC supplies (Less than 500 Amp)
• Assemble, install, test and maintain equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meets specifications.
• Read and understand electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings.
• Required to travel.
• Other duties may be assigned.
